showgallery.php hanging up server

I've been running PhotoPost without issue for months on a new site hosted by Bluehost. Suddenly over the weekend the site started hanging. When I looked at my error logs I noticed the the showgallery.php page was the culprit. When I log into the process manager for the site both the showgallery.php and sendmail scripts have multiple occurrences and have been running for hours. This eventually overloads the server and Bluehost shuts the site down.

When I close the board and force kill all the processes, the site comes back up and everything runs fine. As soon as I open the gallery back, the sendmail and showgallery.php scripts start hanging again.

Here is a copy of the error log that appears to be causing the problems:

Looks to me like someone is using the email a friend link on showgallery and the issue has to do with your server's sendmail program. You might need to contact the host to see whats up with PHP mail as that seems to be the issue.

Thanks Chuck. In the mean time.... is there any way to turn off the email a friend option? I just searched through all the options under the edit settings and didn't see it.

Nope but you can remove this from the showgallery template
