Search problems with 5.6 & 5.61

After the upgrade to 5.6 and then to 5.61 my search page stopped getting results if the form with 'whenterm' is empty (default condition).

So i changed the following line:

// time frame (days is default)
if ( $when && $whenterm != "")

Thank you; && $whenterm should suffice, so I guess one field has something in it and not the other?

Yes. Looks like by default the when == 1, and whenterm is empty. So when the users puts some keywords or name for a search, he gets nothing. That's why i made that modification.
