Works for me. How about some info on your setup or a link to give me more info to go on?

I've just tried that on my site - the new comment appears in "more..." but not in the "Recent Comments" box.

Users enter a username in the search field and are simply re-directed to the search page, instead of receiving a list of all the user's posts. Do they need to enter anything in the other fields? If so, it is not obvious to them.
As for recent comments, because it was not working I turned off the PAL. I turned it back on just now to demonstrate but now even the PAL does not display?
Edit again - now it does display and my test comment is showing. Is some kind of caching takinmg place? All caching options are off in admin.
Edit again - deleted test comment but it still shows in Recent Comments. Seems to be some sort of delay built in to Recent Comments PAL?

Are you choosing a date range? Are you choosing a search parameter?
If your caching the category and feature data it will not update immediately if you want it to update immediately in global options turn off your category cache |

Both issues would be explained by your cache being set; does it update after a period of time (default is 10 minutes)?

On some larger sites, using the category cache can actually reduce performance.
Yes Minutes to cache index page data for featured photos, statistics and PALs?
Number of minutes to cache information. Default is 10 minutes, 0 means no caching.
is 0......
huhu.. theres a bug.....

According to your main page, the last comment made is also the last comment made according to the "more" link; I don't see these as being incorrect.
Is it possible your browser is caching the page and not updating for you?
I do need to fix the search to allow for searching just for a username; right now it requires a keyword of some kind.

Changing the "Minutes to Cache" option at the bottom of Global Options to 0 sorted this on my site |
