Zip file upload errors

I tried uploading a zip with 54 images and got this error at the top of the page and a message saying

Sorry, this image type () is not supported yet.

Warning: Division by zero in /home/mysite/public_html/gallery/image-inc.php on line 292

After that I was able to upload one zip file with two images successfully. Tried unsuccessfully again on the original file. Then I made a new file with only ten of the 54 images and got the same error.
Same with 5 images. I can load the uncompressed images.
Ideas?

Do you have allow zip files in admin options set to yes? How big is the file?

Zip uploads allowed in admin. The size was 1.6mb. With five images it is 184kb.

I tried again this morning from the user ID below and with a compressed file made with winzip instead of with XP. It took the upload and then processed one of the zips I had tried to upload yesterday and did not process the one I uploaded today.

I can too if I try it with a couple of different photos in a different zip file. I can also repeat the error every time with the original zip file I'm trying to upload. You can download that file of images as an attachment to this post, and upload it in the Stumpy profile. You will get the error and it won't complete the upload. The next time you upload any zip it will complete it.

well I would suggest you check your zipfile if its just that zipfile as that would seem like an error with that zipfile.

It’s not the zip, it’s two files in the zip. All of those images were prepared with Photoshop CS2 and saved for web. All but two show zip compressed another 1%. Two show 0% and when I remove those two files the zip will upload and work. There appears to be nothing wrong with those two files but maybe the 0% compression is causing the divide by zero error? (I can upload both without compressing them.) I guess that means I can’t bulk upload a file that won’t compress further? If so, that’s not good.

The issue though is with those images or that one specific zipfile though if everything else works.

In this instance, yes, it appears to be those two specific files. I don't think they are corrupt files, just jpgs that zipping doesn't compress any further, making them incompatable with the upload and/or processing systems.
