Exclamation Some Thumbnails not showing

Hello,

I just installed 5.5 on my site, cumminsforum.com. Some of the thumbs show and some dont? I have double checked the chmod on my folders and they are all 777. Can anyone help me? Here is the page with the most missing:

So, many dont have thumbs and then in some places Ive even seen links instead of thumbs. Why does it do that? It will look like "andys_truck_05.jpg" instead of an image.

Please help!

Andy

I would suggest you check all data folders are 777 at every level and under admin => scan database and rebuild missing thumbnails this should eleviate that issue. I would only think that if some are created and others are not that this would have to do with permissions on some data directories

If you look at the site in Internet Explorer, or at least the forum, there are red x's everywhere. And every time you refresh it, it is different. My logo appears and goes away randomly, but all the image paths are correct. Then, one time all I saw was thumbnails from photopost all over the forum page. Its only been happening since this morning, and quitepossibly last night when I was working on Photopost. Any Ideas? How would photopost interfere with my images?

Is it possible that this happened when I did the "scan database" and selected "check for and create missing thumbnails"? Would it have somehow messed with the entire database of my site?

I apologize. Both of my computers were doing the same thing. I went to MySpace and noticed that 2 of the featured videos on the home page were pictures of my truck! Thats when I got suspicious. I went to my moms computer and everything was perfect just like you said. I turned off both of my computers and now it shows up just fine.

I'm sorry again, any idea why that would happen?

Its so weird that all this started happening after uploading PhotoPost.

Look at what I'm seeing. The first image is what the garage looks like in FireFox 2 after a while of using my computer. The second image is what my site looks like in Internet Explorer. This is both of my computers and I have no viruses. None of my members have complained and say they are having no problems like I am.

http://www.cumminsforum.com/gallery/

Well I see your gallery fine in both FireFox 2.0 and Internet Explorer 7.0 and Opera 9.02

Try making sure maybe your cache updates the page on every visit in your settings of the browser as it seems local to your machine
