Photoposts and thread count

I assume this is a bug, but...

I just uploaded 40 pictures to a single PhotoPost album. The thread count for my account increased by 40, but the overall thread count for the forum didn't move.

Is there somewhere where I need to "link" photo count and thread count together?

That is not a bug. Your forum is only going to count threads within that forum. We can yes increase a users post count to reflect they have uploaded photos but since the photos are not within any forum categories they are not posts counted in thread totals

This make sense now

Sorry Chuck, this does not make sense to me. For example on my web site, I now have my main logon with these stats: total posts 82. There are only 50 posts on the entire site.

How can I either (1) stop photos being counted into thread count for individuals or (2) add photo count to total thread count for the board. I either need to count them using one method or the other - right now I am counting thread count differently for individual versus total board.

Thread totals and user post totals are 2 separate things as I explained. If you do not want user post totals to go up when posting a photo or comment then in comment options in admin turn this off

Comments increment user post count?

Ok sorry - I didn't ready your first email closely enough. The difference between THREADS and POSTS. Sometimes I am a little dense.
