Recent Phots In Members Gallery Not Updating

It appears that the recent photos portion in the members gallery is not updating.

If I understand how the system works, no matter where a member uploads a photo it will dump it to a folder in the Member Gallery category...right? Therefore, the image will appear to be in the category they uploaded to as well as the Member Gallery category. So, then, I am confused why it is not updating...in the recent photos area it only shows one member...when in reality more users have uploaded.

I wonder if this is a similar issue to HERE, this problem was never resolved either??

Actually nothing more was said in the one thread cause you stopped talking

We see no issues with personal album counts assigned to categories. quick example here count shows 16 pics yet there are only 2 there the other 14 are in the assigned album. You need to assign an album to a cat to add the totals there.

As far as showmembers.php

If a cat variable is empty it is assigned to category 500 and as such the features are only going to show images from cat 500 you only have 1 so your only going to show 1

Oh Chcuk, I was not trying to say that you failed to help me, therefore, that problem still exists, I was just saying that I was still having the problem.

Maybe I am not being clear when I try to describe my issue, or maybe I just do not understand how the categories work.

I currently have 4 albums that members have made, one of those almumns is mine and is tied to the Big Nuts Racing Images category, however, that category shows no images...but when you click on that category, the albumn is displayed??

Also, am I correct that when someone uploads images, that the images also automatically appear in the members gallery regardless of what category they were upload to? Because is that is the case, there should be more than one gallery being shown in the recent Photos area.

Not the way I took it either As I said there was nothing more to say on the issue till you respond on what I asked. First off it your using an older version I would suggest you upgrade just so we talking apples to apples. Now as I posted in that thread and even in this one when I assign an album the counts appear right which is why I post examples. Now you can also try after upgrading your files unassign the album and reassign it

Only if you set it this my way my friend In admin showgallery options members gallery shows all a users photos and yours clearly shows all a users photos

I think I also answered above and explained that your featured photos display is only going to show photos in that category if a cat is present and your only showing 1 photo cause you only have one photo uploaded to cat 500
