login issues after timeout

Since I got photopost about a year ago I've had recurring admin login issues. Even though there are a ton of threads on this the answers on this forum never really me helped much. Most of them are related to new installs anyways.

My problem occurs if I leave the screen on for a while and the session times out. The only way to get back into the admin area is to clear all cookies and close the browser. Aside form this my photopost works fine. Why do I have this problem?

Some info might help here like integration type url and test login

Session logins are actually just a third level check for login. Depending on integration in most installs really the userid and password cookies are the cookies that determine login. As long as your browser is set to accept cookies they should be kept on your computer for months and you should not have to login or have any issues.

I use full vb3enhanced integreation with photopost 5.3. Do you want me to PM you a test login?

In vbulletin as long as your cookies exist and are correct you should never be logged out.

cookie path /

cookie prefix bb

cookie domain .domain.com

Proper vblicense number entered in your photopost config-inc.php file on the $vblicense line

You can send a login if you wish sure.

This problem jsut keeps comming back ..grrrr. I try to login and it accepts it but then just sends me back to the category index page. Why???

Have you compared your cookies in the forum to those in Photopost. You will only have cookie problems if things do not match. Are the cookies like I noted above in both applications?
