| index thumb generated is smaller for video thumbnails
I noticed that the index thumb generated for video thumbnails are smaller compared to a photo. I am not sure why that is. This is also true for the index thumb displayed in Recent Comments. May not be a big of a deal but I'll appreciate it if someone can point me to the right place to edit. Please see attached.
Thanks. gallerythumb.PNG

Probally has to do with whatever thumbnail you uploaded for that video? I would assume its smaller than the rest of the thumbnails as well. The avatar is simply half the dimensions of the actual thumbnail image

The avatar is simply half the dimensions of the actual thumbnail image | I generate thumbnails for video files from full size pictures (640x480 etc.) and whenever I set one to be the index thumb, I always get a smaller-size compared to the other thumbnails. This was happening with the previous version as well. When I upgraded to 5.5, same thing happens. I barely edit Photopost files so I thought I'd ask.

Yes right in the code to prevent weird display if you are using the multimedia gif as an avatar in pp-inc.php Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

Thanks Chuck. I changed the dimensions like the rest of my index thumbs and it looks much better now.
I guess you'd only need this if you use a video thumbnail as an index avatar. And as you change your thumbnail's dimension you may need to modify the values too.

One thing though, where are the image sizes set for the recent comments section because it stays the old size in the comspal and looks a little odd |

I guess you have to wait a while. PAL's are cached. By the time you read this, they should have changed.

Determine the dimensions of your regular index thumbnails (you can right-click >> Properties), then change this part to the same dimensions: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

You can control the size of your thumbnails by setting the thumbnail size in Admin => Upload Options. After that if you want to rebuild thumbs to the new size go to Scan Database and check the rebuild thumbs box.
