Error codes on lines - no pictures available.

I've messed with the gallery at www.6r4.info/gallery and now get this message - when selecting a picture:

Quote:
Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/boeing/public_html/gallery/showgallery.php on line 122

Have you upgraded recently?

You can set debug setting to show errors in global options and when your logged in as admin it will show you the exact error

Hi Chuck,

Tried upgrading and now get this:

Quote:
Please update the permissions to writable so we can continue; on Linux systems this means settings permissions to 666 so the server can write to the file.
How do I change permissions?

My last post was not one to say to upgrade at least not till after you figure out what is wrong with your present version.

Why would you be installing? That is the only place that phrase is used to check the config files

You are right - but decided to upgrade and now I get this message:

How do I fix this permission?

Quote:
Checking config-inc.php... found!
Checking config-inc.php permissions... Error encountered.
Attempting to fix permissions... unable to correct!

The config-inc.php file must be writable by the install.

Please update the permissions to writable so we can continue; on Linux systems this means settings permissions to 666 so the server can write to the file.

Why are you running an install though?

If you want upgrade instructions you read the upgrade doc in the documentation folder

You basically upload all the files overwriting everything except the config files and run any applicable upgrades from upgrade.php

I don't know really. It won't upgrade anyway - I've given up the idea and now no gallery.

Beyond my scope

http://www.6r4.info/gallery/

Your trying to upgrade a gallery that has a different url and server paths?

Basically what you want to do is in the settings table in phpmyadmin for this old database set the right server path to the data directory and the urls that the application runs on and set server permissions to 777 at every level. You can then run the 485 upgrade ONCE and you should be fine

Open a ticket?

You would need to purchase an install.

Install or upgrade Chuck?

Will do it ASAP, you have my details already (no fax).
