just ran into a major issue.

I just ran the admin utility - scandb on my database and chose the following options: 'recalculate photo's/posts numbers and check children & check here to resync photo/comments usernames/update comments counts.

Well, it ran through my DB and removed just about every image.

The out put was (for each image removed),
Checking photo #3114: image /hsphere/local/home/dennis/njflyfishing.com/photopost/data/527/pseudo.jpg not found, removing from database... done.

however, the photo is there:
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Why did photopost do this?

In the meantime, I have a backup of my DB. Which tables do I need to restore to get the comments back and the photo's?

Thanks

ok, I just restored a few tables and got everything back, but I'd still like to run those utilities without this happening again.

Any ideas?

Usually this means your data path is incorrect and the image can not be found. Make sure to check both global options and storage options and make sure the path is correct

Chuck,

If the path was incorrect, I wouldn't see my images.? Since I restored the DB, everything is working perfect. If I run the utility, it deletes everything.

well yes it should but the rebuild utility simply pulls the path and looks for the file.

Only other thing I could suggest is make sure you dont have any old files on your system. Try uploading clean files
