I tried that and updating my email didn't help on that. I updated my license # too since this was an old account from another installation that I did.

Update: I've patched a fix onto the end of header-inc.php to bring up my header.
The only place it worked right was useralbums.php. So now I'm getting a double header there. But maybe you can spot the bug since useralbums.php is the only page working right.
I still have a problem since most galleries had customized headers which aren't coming up.
Thanks!
P.S. Don't know if it matters but I'm using vb 3.0 not 3.5 (which header-inc.php refers to)

I dont think your following me here. Please read the thread I linked you too. Your not running your site with the vb3 enhanced integration so of course your not going to pull your vb3 header. You need to do what I suggested in the thread and turn on vb3 enhanced integration.

When I click to reply to your link above, integration issue
I get "you do not have permission to access this page."
So that's permissions on your end. I'd help you troubleshoot it but I don't have your version of vB. One upgrade at a time, thanks.
We're not looking for complete vb integration. It was working fine using the stylesheets from vb in the last version of photopost. Also we have custom photopost style headers for galleries, various html files. That's why I don't want to integrate it further with the forums. It just uses the stylesheets from there, so basically the galleries are meant to be in photopost mode, not vb.
Perhaps our selected options are slightly different from those you've programmed for. But I've tried each option and it only seems to work with complete vb integration (we're using vbportal too). If vbportal or vbulletin allowed custom headers for each gallery it would be great. (I've setup custom headers for each forum) But it would be a bit more difficult to assign them to each gallery the way things are setup, but I suppose I could code it if I have to.
Hope I haven't confused the matter.

To participate on our forums this will assist you http://www.photopost.com/forum/before-you-buy/announcements.html
The way our vbulletin integration works if you want to use the vbulletin headers and footers you turn on the enhanced integration. If you choose not to load them thats fine. Your only going to have user authentication and thats it then and you can define whatever headers and footers you wish in photopost admin by making html header for each category etc

Chuck, I've visited that page, done what is required and I'm still not verified. I've given you all my info already, you should have records (if not, that's sad).
There's nothing more I can do to verify. BTW, all this "verification" bs between you and vbulletin is driving me (and others I'm sure) NUTS! It's more of a hassle than upgrading your program.
Now, as far as the integration. I've said we don't want vbulletin headers. I've already defined the headers for many of the galleries. THIS IS NOT A NEW INSTALL, just an upgrade. Everything worked fine before it. I've lost all the headers now, and I've put in a hack to bring up something, but it seems I'll have to recode the galleries to get it to load my custom headers now.
It seems our inbetween integration status has left us without headers.
Thanks, but I seem to be getting nowhere with you guys, we're just goin' round in circles.
I guess I won't buy another license (for a new site), or renew my existing support if this is how it goes.

I think you can appreciate the need for us to be able to identify our customers; that said, as long as the email address for your member matches your registration email the system will update your status - if they do not match, then we will need to update one or the other so they do match.

If your not using the vb3 enhanced integratation simply place the correct server path to whichever header and footer you want to load in the Admin => Global Options.
As far as verification as long as you set your forum email to match the email on file for the license you will be verified

you changed my email, I've updated my email addy to that one, but it's STILL not verifying me.
As far as the header path goes, it's never changed. It just won't pick them up anymore.
I can even EDIT the header, but it does nothing, it just doesn't show up.
It's a BUG in this latest version.
AH, I finally showed up verified.
Thanks.

To summarize the problem:
Do you want to enable the vB3 Enhanced features which use vB3 controls in PhotoPost? This is the only setting in Integration I've set to yes.
I've set use the vb3 stylesheets to Yes
I've set the user reg to vb3
Everything else is set to NO for Integration.
Perhaps you can run a setup like this and see what happens.
Thanks! |

You can not use the vbulletin stylesheet without using the vbulletin headers.
You either just use the vb header style or you just have user integration your choice.
There is not bug with the headers that I can see. Make sure your using the server path to the header image and not a url.

I found the bug that was causing the headers to drop.
The pp-inc.php file references $catheader but doesn't define it. The definition is in the previous version, it just needs to be copied over.
I have another bug that's buggin' me...
When a new photo gets moved to another gallery, the thumbnail isn't getting picked up on the index page. Instead we get the "no thumbnail" image. The thumbnail still exists and appears in the appropriate gallery, but not on the index page. This bug appeared in the previous version as well.

[ Edit: I added a line to adm-photo.php in the current build to force a cache refresh.]
Line 536 in pp-inc.php should read: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
