Mysql Error - 8meg email(NOT A BUG)

I am getting these errors and the emails are well over 8mb! Any ideas?

Got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet'

Your categories table is too big to cache based on your mysql max packet size

turn off your cache in global options by setting it to 0

Thanks, I just tried that but opening my gallery home took almost a minue on each refresh. I found some documentation on the net and if it works I will post it here. It allows you to increase the max-packet size like you suggested to me via pm.

Hopefully that will work and we will increase our knowledge bas eon how to break pp

Yup, ended up crashing my site testing some settings Oh well, trial and error
