Problems Sorting with Search

as far as I understood this thread, I have the same question.

If a user clicks into the gallery of another member, i want to have all images of that member automatically displayed by date as default order ("posted").

I moved already in the showgallery.tmpl the row with "posted" to the top, but this is obviosly only changing the appearance of the sort order box at the buttom of the screen.

But to be honest I did not understand the part described above for search.php. maybe it is not working with version 5.31 anymore.

Any hints for dummies how to do this?

What is your default sort for members gallery in edit categories? If I visit the members gallery and my default sort is most recent I get the newest first

aaaahhhh, ok, so this setting is for both, the gallery index overview of all members and the gallery of each specific user.

Is there a way to treat it separately? To sort the gallery index alphabetical but the gallery of one user automatically by date as default?

The users gallery is the members gallery so sorry nope there is one sort
