Broken categories editor?

I added and edited many categories till now.
But when I tried to add one more category today, I received the wrong screen and nothing was done - see the attachment img file.
categories.jpg
The same screen now, if I'm trying to edit any category.
This case took place, when catid=3375 was assigned to latest created category and I tried to add one more category.
Now I can do nothing with categories
Are there too many categories?

PP version 5.21

One more problem with categories - see image.
At the index page appeared empty categories unlisted in the category list.

I would suggest you turn off the cache in global options set it to 0 timeout.

Your cache list is too big to be saved in mysql. Your server mysql packet size is not big enough to allow that large of a packet to be saved thus your error. Not much we can do as far as the program is concerned since this error is coming from a server setting. Only thing you can do is not use the cache unless your host is willing to up the mysql packet size variable.

But "Number of minutes to cache information. Default is 10 minutes, 0 means no caching." helped. Thank you for idea!

Hello

Yes that was the setting I meant cache timeout. Not ipcache forget we have two cache switches so best to be explicit.
