| 'This' becomes \'This\' - photo upload Title/description
In photo upload Title and description box ...
'This' becomes \'This\'
...during upload preview and after submitting.

Very strange indeed since we stripslashe the deftitle and defdesc variables tha are passed in the url
How about's in bulkupload.php twice find this
$title = $deftitle;
$desc = $defdesc;
replace with this
$title = stripslashes($deftitle);
$desc = stripslashes($defdesc);

This works, but it seems to slow down the performance.
For example, when I click on view larger image, there is a pause and I get a white screen with the title of the picture in the upper left part of the picture frame and then after a brief pause, the larger picture shows.

Sorry this edit has no performance hit and it has nothing to do with the showphoto.php script

I believe it was an internet connection problem as it's working fine now.
... edit: with the fix provided in Post#4
Thanks!

This fix though does not correct an issue we are having the same in titles.... I have applied the fix as noted above....
See here on our main forum page - last category that was added was a test after the fix was applied: http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com/gallery/index.php |

Well I would suggest you upgrade to 5.21 and you will need to actually edit the title and remove the slash's

How about you start a new thread then and tell us as much info as possible as in where it is doing it etc and a url to your install. I saw you posted you where using 5.2 and not 5.21 hense since there have been two script fixes that I know of that deal with this I meantioned to upgrade.
I would still suggest you do so as well to make sure you grab any fixes if you downloaded 5.21 a while ago.
