Menu Links and Photo Count (not a bug)

At http://www.southbaycalendar.com/photos/index.php my forum has incorrect links to Photos and Forums in the main menu, and incorrect counts of photos. The incorrect photo counts began occurring after I bulk deleted some photos.

How can I fix these two problems?

Thanks.

Try running a Scan DB and check the box to update post counts.

The scan DB didn't work. And do you have a suggestion for the other question also?

Thanks.

You need to modfiy your navbar template in vB to modify the link to your forums since it's not a default link. You'll need to use the full path /forum/index.php for the link to work.

Do you only have the 13 photos uploaded in an album?

No, you do not need to run Scan DB each time when deleting photos.

It's weird that I had to use the absolute path only for the photos and forums link since all of the other links were relative and still worked. Hmmm...

All 13 photos exist in the 1 album. No photos exist outside of the album. Yet it says I have 26 photos at http://www.southbaycalendar.com/phot...rs.php/cat/500 . Did I answer your question?

In your Admin Options, what do you have:

Do you want Members Gallery to show all of a users photos?

set to? Yes?

(In Show Gallery Options).

If you set it to NO and do a Scan DB checking the recalc photo counts, does the count change?

I tried that out. It didn't work. I don't know what's going on now. It says 0 some places, 26 others. Shows duplicates some places, but I can't delete any dups because sometimes they don't show up, etc. Check it out. Let me know if you would like my password via PM.

I think you may be right. I think now that it just takes a while (10 or 15 minutes?) for the numbers to update.

Thanks.

P.S. Chuck, BTW zipping photos does not significantly reduce their size.
