Image Description: " changes to "(FIXED)

Hi,

I noticed when I bulk process uploaded pictures I get the following bug in the description:

If I use quotation marks in the description, the first two sets of pictures, images 1 to 10 and 11 to 20, the description shows up correctly with a " in it. But for the third round I attempt to process, images 21 to 30, the " gets replaced with " . I'm currently using version PP 5.21 that I downloaded this morning and it's integrated with VB 3.5.0. Is there anyway to keep the " from being replaced with " ?

Your taking about on showphoto page you almost confused me here.

They are suppose to be replaced with &quot on upload as thats how a " is stored in the database

You need to alter showphoto.php and change this line

$desc = convert_markups( $desc );

to

$desc = convert_markups(un_htmlspecialchars($desc) );

Thanks but I did mean with the bulk upload. When you place quotes around something in the description, the quotes remain there for the first two processes. For example, if I put "test" as the description and click "upload/submit", by round three it's replaced with "test" . By round 4, you have "test" , and round 5 "test" and so on. And I'm refering to the description box that shows on the bulk upload page before you hit "process" and go to the next batch of images that remain in the upload folder. I've attached 3 screen shots that show round 1, then rounds 3 and 4 so you can see how it gets changed.

Im glad I searched for this as I had a problem with quotes showing in my photo desciption. I have applied this change and it works fine.
