Is it normal to clear your cookies etc in order to view your latest uploads and comments?

When I upload a photo and view the index, the latest photo is not viewable in index. Latest comments having the same issue too. I did updated the version to 5.21 though

The category information if your using the cache is cached for the time period specified

i just switched of the chache for testing, but i also have the problem that not all latest fotos are shown on the gal-index page in the "newest photos" box.

any hint or tipp for me?

EDIT: Offtopic: I also have the problem that the times in the gallery are not the same than in the forums... :S any hint for that?

If you set cache timeout to 0 it surely updates. This thread os 2 months old.

What do you mean times in the gallery not the same as forums?

If your using vbulletin have you set your GMT server offset to reflect where your server is. Example if your server is in central standard time as mine is you place a 7 in here.

regarding the time: in vbulletin the time is okay, but there's one hour difference in the gallery. is there another value at the gallery i have to set with the timedifference?

As I stated above in our GMT server time offset. VBulletin times are from GMT and user offset's from GMT

Our tmes are from server and user users offset. So you must set from GMT to server to get the server to GMT for times to show right
