After comment, wrong photos show in member gallery(NOT A BUG)

1. Click on the Members Gallery Link.
2. Click on a members gallery.
3. Click on an individual photo.
At the top it will read: Home » Member Galleries » username

4. Type in comment and submit.

Page refreshes, the top still reads: Home » Member Galleries » username

However, the thumbnails show recently added photos belonging to anyone who has uploaded instead of only showing the photos in username's gallery.

Have I set something wrong in the settings to allow this to happen?

Best wishes and thank you.

No you have done nothing wrong

If I view the members gallery click a photo after commenting I am taken to the showphoto script after commenting which is not showmembers.

showphoto does display the latest photos thumbnail strip

You can turn this on or off in admin

Hello Chuck. Thank you for getting back to me on this. I'm having a blonde moment. Where exactly is this turned on and off in the admin? I looked in the Show Photo area, the only thing I thought looked like what you were talking about was "Show last photo thumbnail in member galleries listing?" however, turning this to no didn't fix the problem.

Best wishes and thank you!

Hello Chuck.

I have checked to make sure this option was already turned on, and it was. Having it disabled removes the filmstrip which I do not want.

I want the filmstrip on. I want it to behave like it does on other sites. When I leave a comment, the photo previews continue to show the members folder, not the most recently added photos.

(Sorry for putting this one in the wrong category).

Well all our sites behave like this as it pulls the latest photos. If you want to limit it by user then you would need to modify your files.

I know this is an old thread BUT this is a problem for any gallery that has different access rights. For example if you have sample photos veiwable by anyone and the rest only veiwable by registered or paying customers the way the previous next code works it will show thumbnails of photos that the unregistered people shouldnt be able to see at all - granted that they cant click to see the full size - but if for example Im looking at Category one the previe should ONLY show pictures from Category one... Is it possible to make this work ??

Just updated from 5.30 to 531 and the gallery hasnt changed

http://www.lewisvillepartycove.com/g...7/limit/recent

if you are not logged in you still see the thumbnails for categories that you dont have rights to see

Its not a question of seeing private albums - its a question of seeing images ( thumbnails ) in categories that the usergroup is specifically NOT gven access to

These checked usergroups can view images in this category.
it also appears tha the dot between hide image and make sticky is missing

If you click the link the picture of the dog is in a category that a person that is not logged in should not see

Im not a developer so I dont know what the is_image_private function means, or does, or what its dependant on .. But as far as I know the only private option I have seen, refers to gallerys not images and Im refering to Category permissions
