Long filenames?(NOT A BUG)

I've recently had a user upload some jpg files with long filenames, such as:

file_name_like_this_is_too_long_for_use_I_think.jpg

This is causing the tables to be skewed, as the "name" of the photo is based off the filename.

Can we do anything to shorten these, perhaps put in a maximum character limit on filenames or image names?

Well this is not a bug but I can post a solution that might work for you. In image-inc.php

Find this:

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Replace with this

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Chuck,

I changed the code to the following:

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Which works perfectly.

However, this does not effect photos that have already been uploaded. Is it possible to modify the code on the "index" page and if the filename is over X characters, only DISPLAY 15 chars... instead? Having long file names really screws up the formatting of the tables/cells, etc.

I've found a few posts that do what I need on every page _except_ the index.php page of Photopost..

The URL for example is here:

In pp-inc.php add the code in bold.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

The code appears to have changed in the latest version of photopost. Can you supply corrected edits?
