This is Photopost related.....but thought I'd post here as it's very similar, but feel free to move if you think it appropriate.

I'm seeing a similar ampersand issue on the comments email notifications - for example, if the title of the photo has & in it when the email notification arrives, the title is changed to include %amp; instead - (ex: Joe %amp; Jenny Italy visit instead of Joe & Jenny Italy visit).

What do I need to change for it to display correctly in the New Reply subject field within the email notifications.

VB 3.09 and PP 5.14

Thanks.

Thanks for moving post and for trying, but still the same result I'm afraid.

Anyother thoughts?

I can't say cause this is my comment reply to a photo with a title like that and I did not have to edit the default code of 5.14

Omegatron has posted a reply about the following photo:

"Me, Myself & I" - http://www.reeftalk.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=429

testing comments

Ok, so are you saying your email notification also shows the & ("Me, Myself & I" ) - so it's not just my setup? Just to clarify.....this only appears in the email, the title in the Gallery displays just fine - just like yours in that link.

I'm using the stock 5.14 comments.php - I tried your earlier suggestion, but reverted back after testing it out unsuccesfully.

Anyone else see this?

Thanks.

I must be running slow today (!!) - so you're saying the & is supposed to show in the subject line of the email notifications in this instance, as the html is not parsed by the email?

I reapplied your suggestion, just in case I messed up the first time, but still no go. Guess will have to live with this one.
