Users not allowed to upload have gallery link(NOT A BUG)

1. Usergroup set to not be able to upload. Only comment and edit posts.
2. Move test user to limited usergroup.
3. Logout of admin and login in as test user.
4. Top left link appears, mines renamed to "My Artwork" but it's the link next to "My Albums · My Favorites".

"My Albums" doesn't appear because the allow album setting is turned off for usergroup, but the link to their member gallery still shows despite not having an "Upload Image" link on right side of that same table.

If I can get code on how to fix this, that would be great as this could cause some confusion for people wanting to add images to their gallery that they don't have permission to.

Thanks.

EDIT: It appears that they also have a gallery link when commenting as well which should be removed if they don't have upload permissions.

THIS IS NOT A BUG.

Usergroup permissions can be changed by the admin and just cause right now they dont have upload priveledges does not mean they dont have images uploaded as they could have been members of other usergroups

The two are not inter-connected

But if they don't have any images uploaded and you have this permission turned off, shouldn't it not show a link to a empty gallery that they don't have permission to anyways? and if it shouldn't, then is there a way to make it? Looking at it from my users perspective, seeing a link that says "My Artwork" but then no "Upload Image" link anywhere available to them would get frustrating and could end up in multiple support questions all asking the same thing, "How do I upload to my artwork gallery?"

Since galleries are hidden until images are uploaded to them I am more concerned about getting rid of the top left link that makes it appear that they have the ability to upload images there, when really they don't. Anyway to fix this or trick the system to not show that "My Artwork" link to the usergroup? It doesn't show it to unregistered users, is there a way to add the new userid into the code so that it doesn't show to the "registered" usregroup? I only want it to show for people I move from the "registered" usergroup to the "artists" usergroup. Seems possible, but I don't know enough to figure it out myself.

Ideas?

The My Gallery link has never been restricted to not appear in any Photopost version. This is not a bug and if you would like to make suggestion in the suggestions forum you are welcome to do so.

Maybe it's just a bug you've never fixed.
