Was just looking in my Reviewpost and having the same issue on the reviews.php page as I am on my photopost, also the gallery here ALSO does the same errors, so its NOT only my install but photopost its self.
the error I was getting and the error I'm still getting for reviewpost is :
Line : 333
Char : 1
Error : object expected
Code: 0

You are missing what I am saying here
You are using a beta vb35 forum integrated with our products and as such officially it is not supported. We are working on any issues we see but Vb35 and it will be supported ( with no errors ) on our products when it is gold.
I have fixed anyone's java issues with the latest releases of photopost and reviewpost so I suggest your redownload reviewpost and upload the files especially quickcom.tmpl reviews.php showproduct.php for Reviewpost.
If I can not get a java error on your site and I can post a comment then where is your issue. I need to explicitly know what your doing differently that I. Do you continue to get java errors on your install that I dont see in IE anymore?
Michael and I are both working on a different comment issue in regards to html versus BB code as to our testing all java script errors are fixed. This means you may need to wait on this issue till we wrap up our testing and post the upcoming 5.2 and 3.1 releases of the products.

I'm NOT the only one that can't post... Just had 3 other people try and they can't type in the text box either.

Upgraded and the error on 'showphoto.php' is back and the error on 'comments.php' is still there.
Error on showphoto.php -
Line : 18
Char : 1
Error : 'threadedmode' is undefined
Code : 0
URL : http://www.nitro-powered.com/gallery/showphoto.php?
Error on comments.php -
Same as its been no error code just can't type in the text box and smile code shows up on the top of the page above everything else.

okay send me ftp info so I can check your files
No one else gets what you get. The minor java error has been fixed but your issue which has nothing to do with anything in this thread is your typing comments and they arenot going in the box but the header or your site so one needs to know why you get this and I would need to have site access for that

I had two members post a comment like the one that is in quotes last nite about not being able to reply to a picture.
For some reason the reply box will not activate wo it can be typed in.
Here is one quote from a member. Quote:
I was attempting to reply to Iloco, (in the gallery) & what do you know, the cursor would not populate in the reply box. Seems fine in the forum (here) though.....
by the way...If one uses the 'Quick Reply' in the gallery, then a reply does populate... but say if I were to click on 'post a reply', the cursor does not enable there...
| It weird that I can post reply but members are having a problem. Gallery

Have you applied this fix?
The current build should have this issue fixed. It's an IE thing |

I will get a new download of Photopost and upload a new quickcom.tmpl file to make sure I got the latest one.
Should I upload any other file that would help the problem.

After replacing the quickcom.tmpl with new ones I had a member to try again that was having the problem.
Here is what he said. Quote: |
I gave it a try here a work & I cleared the cache first, but got the same problem w/ I.E. ...unable to populate cursor in the gallery reply
| Should I replace any other files that might be causing his problem.

Are you unable to make comments?
Reason I ask is I just placed one. Just trying to see what the issue might be |

Yes I am able to make comments with post comment and also with the quick reply box.
Thats what has me curious if its a photopost thing or the other person has some small problem.
I saw you were able to comment ok.

Okay thats why I asked. The above fix which corrected an issue that kept everyone from commenting in IE is in the build and we are both able to comment.

I see the person(graphicguru) has posted a comment this morning to some the pictures.
Maybe he got the issue fixed on his end because I don't think its a problem since you and I both can comment.
It was the quick reply box that would not let a person type in it is what his problem was if I understood him correctly.
I still think its a cache problem with his browser.

Just received this pm from the person who is having a problem.
It seems he can post comments with quick reply but not when using the Post reply.
I asked him if he could makle comments and this is hiw reply. Quote: |
Not yet... those are 'quick replies' still seeing if it will work or not... so I guess it won't until there is a fix. Sorry, I must be racking up quite a few posts in my attempt to see if it's working yet... I will back off
