Any ideas what I should be looking for? Everything worked fine up till last week. No changes in my database.

Have you checked to see if your host changed anything on the server? Look to see if php has been upgraded etc

And if my host changed something or upgraded my PHP, what would I need to do to fix this?

If your host upgraded PHP for you ask them to check if they have 'Compiled' Apache/PHP with the modules you had before.

You need either GD or ImageMagick installed to upload and manipulate the photos
