Passwords + slideshow / print view (5.13)(NOT A BUG)

Hi,

Running v5.13 for the last few hours!

I've emailed this to support, but wondered if anyone else had come across this, or knows how to fix it.

If you have a password protected category, and you click on slideshow or "print view" you get sent to a page asking you to enter the password, however, after successfully entering this, you are sent back to a gallery view, instead of seeing the slideshow or printview. This seems to be because the "form action" of the password page is showgallery.php.

In 4.8.2 you could fix the slideshow by putting:

<input type="hidden" name="password" value="$password" />
in slideshow.tmpl

However, that no longer works, things seem to use sessions now?

I'd appreciate any thoughts as to how to fix this, as a few of my users are whinging at me that slideshow has stopped working! (sadly removing the catergory password, or giving them all seperate accounts aren't options)

Hello

There is no way around this for passwords. They are now stored as a cookie and if you dont have the cookie the password box is there and as you know the form action must be showgallery.php which is where password is set.

To my knowledge looking back at earlier versions this has always been the same as nothing has changed except the name of the password cookie from password to catp
