| 5.13 Issue: vb membership but no integration(NOT A BUG)
I just completed upgrading from 5.0beta to 5.13 but am encountering an issue with vb integration. With 5.0 we had vb integration for the registration system on but the 3 vb3 options off so no vb styles, wysiwyg editor or similar tools would appear. Now when I turn off vb3 integration I am unable to display the gallery pages with the registration system at all. What needs to be changed to allow photopost to work with our vb member database but not with the styles?

Photopost works fine without vb3 style integration.
what do you mean does not work. Make sure you have ran all upgrades and that all the proper NEW files exist on your server

All the new files are uploaded. All the upgrades have been run. However, if I turn off vb3 style integration the pages show up as if I wasn't logged in.

Well you have to have a path or url specified wrong in the config-int.php or config-inc.php files although the blank page is usually the other way around.
Okay just one other note on this you sure you have uploaded the templates directory both the main one and subdirectory vb3enhanced?

That doesn't make any sense... with vb3 integration on the page loads, with it off, it doesn't. If the paths were wrong it wouldn't work at all.
As for the templates, the entire default file is uploaded. I'm not using (or rather I do not want to use) the vb3 enchanced templates as I am only trying to use vb registration, all other features should be native photopost ones exactly as they would appear if I was not using vb.

You entire issue makes no sense as what your reporting is the backwards of the normal error when someone sets a wrong path or missing template in the vb3enhanced directory.
Only things we can suggest is to check the normal things to make track down the culprit as this is not something we can reproduce and as many customers use VB3. I myself use it.
1. Check all path statements
2. Check all url statements.
3. Make sure all the proper files are uploaded. This means reuploading everything except the config files
If you have control of your php.ini file setting display errors to ON will state the exact issue.

All of the files are uploaded, all of the paths are checked and rechecked. If this was a path issue the script shouldn't load at all but it does load, it just doesn't use the vb registration system. Quote:
define("VB3_INTEGRATION", 'on');
define("VB3_ENHANCEDINT", 'on');
define("VB3_COMMWYSIWYG", 'on');
| And the gallery displays with the proper settings and registration database.
Turn them off and it doesn't, it's as if it is forcing those variables to be on in order to use the vb database.
I can't imagine that this is anything more than a minor setting but it doesn't make any sense. Either I'm being forced to use the vb3 styles or not use the memberdatabase at all, I need to be in the middle like I was with 5.0beta.

However, that is what happening and with a 19,000+ photo gallery I'm rather well aware of how to set the paths. Again, there must be something simple that's causing the integration variables to have to be on for the registration system to work but that's whats happening.

How about your cookie settings and vblicense settings?
However those would not cause a white page
What do you mean a white page post a link?
You mean there is no stylesheet?

Sorry I should have clarified more... the white page issue is something I fixed earlier.
Now when I turn off the 3 vb integration variables the script does not look for my vb registration database. What I need is to use the vb registration database for users/ mods/ admins but not to use any vb templates. This was easily achieved in 5.0beat by turning off the 3 vb variables but setting vb3 as the registration system. Now it does not seem to work as turning off those variables shows me photopost pages without the vb database integrated at all... I'm asked to login, etc...

It works the same way nothing has changed. I can turn off my vb3 header integration and still login with vb3 username etc
You can PM me with url and admin login
