| Private Albums: This forum requires a password for access!(FIXED)
It should say ...
This Album requires a password for access!
Please enter password:
---------
Scenerio / Questions
Member creates Album -> makes Private -> Uploads photo ->
Submits photo -> The following page shows ...
This forum requires a password for access!
Please enter password:
A member should not need to to enter their password to see their pic, right?
In addition, there is no link at the top back to My albums to get the password.
There is a `Home' link and then if member goes to My Albums - sees album and pic thumbnail, though ...
- password entry required if member clicks on Album name
- accessible clicking on password link
If you still have the link to the gallery, (previous PM) I've made your settings as a regular member. If you could create a Private Album and upload a pic I'd much appreciate you checking it out.
As admin I've never seen the password entry page nor had any probs.
Mark

1. beauty of language files. You may change it to say what you wish in english.php
2. will take a look and see about the password issue if there is one. I suspect you get that box because of this
if ( strcmp($password, $catpass) ) {
get_password( $cat );
exit;
As admin you bypass all restrictions but you then logged out and logged in as a user. You already had a catp cookie on your computer. You viewed another album which has a different password hense the passwords do not match

OK, I tried clearing all my cookies before changing to another member name ... still did it, but I know in the past I had a prob with one of those persistent cookies thingies ...
I'll be introducing albums feature to our members in the next few days, and I'll get a member to try it out to make sure it doesn't show for them.
Thanks again for solving the riddle!
Mark

Remove auto album password
How do I remove auto generate password for private album and allow user to enter password for private album.
This is the feature Im looking for and if you can fix it, I'll be your next buyer!

The album password is auto generated. You may post in the modifications forums on anything that involves code modification as that is not part of product support.
