"Skip upload and process the files already in your upload directory" Bug(NOT A BUG)

I select 5 images to upload and click the "Skip upload and process the files already in your upload directory" because I wasn't sure if this would bypass the page that shows all the images and the title and description field.

After the upload it doesn't show the images, nor did it error out. It says images were uploaded successfully.

I don't know if this is new in 5.13, but now it says on all the columns in my user gallery that don't have images "Upload Photos". The first part is for sure a bug, whether this part is a bug or not I'm not sure, but if it isn't how do I remove it from saying "Upload Photos" in all the rows that don't contain a picture? It's very annoying.

Did you guys even test this version before releasing it?

Also, after you make a change to a category and it returns you in the admin CP to where it shows all yer cats you lose the top link for adding a top level cat. Refreshing doesn't return it, you have to reclick the cats option in the left frame for it to return.

In addition it looks like adding this text multiple times when a column doesn't have a image in it is a "feature" because I see it when creating 1 album and I have 3 columns saying "Create a New Album". Talk about spamming your users. Please for the love of everything that is holy tell me how to remove this. I see the line in the langauge file, but is it used anywhere else? I don't want any of those appearing in the empty boxes. Is it only the "Create a New Album" and "Upload Photos" that I need to remove from the langauge file?

Not a bug my friend

SKIP UPLOAD means just that it is for bulkupload. It processes images you ftp to your upload folder. It bypass's the image prompts

The second thing is a new feature.

hmm. Do you know if a hack has been posted anywhere to give the option of bypassing that page that shows all the thumbnails and title and description fields? I thought I saw it talked about somewhere, but it wasn't a checkbox, it was more hard coding it, which I didn't like either. I guess I may have to just live with it.

Has anybody else noticed that photopost doesn't have that large of a mod community? I wish it was like the Vbulletin mod community. Photopostdev is a ghost town. Have you guys ever though about hiring somebody to help jumpstart the photopost mod community?

Since Photopostdev.com has nothing to do with the company Photopost.com it is not our place to hire anybody

Vbulletin.org is not related to Vbulletin.com to my knowledge either. Most hack sites are started by people as a resource and have no affiliation with the companies that manufacturer the software. What every good hack site needs is people that contribute. Unfortunately photopostdev.com has an abundance of people who want and not many that give.

I would give if I knew how to code php. :\ I thought photopostdev was part of the photopost parent company. Maybe the developers could dedicate some time to writing custom additions to photopost instead of always working on the next version?

Honestly I doubt that would happen from a company standpoint since our core concern is the software we sell.

Michael and I have both contributed modications on that site. The point of a hacking community is users helping users.

True, but from a company standpoint you should also realize a strong modification community will help sell photopost... even if it takes an hour or two a day from developers to get it jumpstarted
