User not able to upload to gallery....nothing set preventing

Bear with me, this is somewhat long, but hopefully the information will trigger something to help me.

I had phpbb on my site, upgraded to vbulletin. I ran their script to update from it. Worked like a charm. Came here to determine the needs to get my photopost linked properly. Was told what to do and that I also needed a script to update the users to match my vbulletin users. Hired photopost to do that. Chuck did that. Everything was working fine.

Then, I had a problem where my users could not edit their files in photopost. Was told to look at the global options and user settings. Settings allowed them to update their files, they had unlimited options other than the file size total. So, that didn't seem to be a problem. Chuck came in and did something and I really don't know what he did, but everyone could edit their uploads fine.

Now, some people cannot upload anything, some can upload only one time per day. Nothing had changed in the user settings. There are no limitations. I'm at a complete loss as to why this is occuring.

Any thoughts, ideas - can anyone help me figure out what might be happening? I just have no idea where to even go with this now. Does this mean I might have to wipe out my gallery and start over again?

I appreciate your responses.

Well Check your usergroups settings. You had edits turned off before when I fixed it for you. Just go over your usergroup settings with a fine tooth comb

Sounds to me like you have uplimit per day set to some people. You might even have specific uploads off for certain groups.

Without a specific message telling what problem they are having we can not assist. Just saying someone cant upload is way too generic. I can think of over a dozen different solutions depending on what error someone gets when it comes to uploads.

Chuck, I sent you a screen shot before and everthing did say they had editing privledges. Here's another one...because I've touched NOTHING since you went in to it.

So, to be VERY specific....per my earlier post:

1) some users (doesn't matter which group) can upload one file per day
2) some users (doesn't matter which group) can't upload anything at all

They have checked their file size settings, they are NOT getting error messages. It appears the file uploads and goes through, but nothing does.

Admin users do not have this problem.

Please see attached screenshots showing nothing is set saying they can't.

Do you have an error when you say they cant upload??

If they get uplimit warning then there usergroup setting for uploads perday is not set to 0 which is unlimited.

As far as your categories settings there are 7 categories I see that registered users are not allow to upload to as this is how you have it set

Is this intentional?

What usergroup do these users belong to that cant upload etc? anything for us to work with? I notice you have several custom usergroups

Per my previous post:

They have checked their file size settings, they are NOT getting error messages. It appears the file uploads and goes through, but nothing does.

Every usergroup you see checked can upload....I do not want those not registered, waiting on confirmations, or banned to upload. The users trying to upload are within the registered users group, the creative team group and designers group.

Trust me...if I had more to give you to work with I would. This is why I'm posting here. I've tried to look everywhere that might be causing this problem.
