member galleries photo albums(NOT A BUG)

when a member uploads photos directly to the member gallery it show number of pictures, comments and last posted by correctly on the main page. When they are put in a members album they create it shows 0 for pictures, comments and no last upload by

What version of Photopost you run? (this more than anything can affect the answer

)

First off another thing to consider is personal albums where never counted in category counts on main page. I do beleive in Photopost 5.11 you can assign an album to a category and it will reflect the count of the photos in the album as well.

I am running photopost 5.1

when a member creates an album and uploads to that album in the member galleries it does not show any photos, comments ect. to be in the members gallery in the main page. If the member uploads to the member gallery and does not assign an album the picture count, comments ect. show on the main page

Try upgrading to 5.11 just to make sure we arent tracking down anything that was fixed from 5.1

ran the upgrade to 5.1.2, still same results

I'm not really following you on what you say is not working properly, can you walk me through it?

Michael,

when someone signs up for an account they can post pictures to the member gallery. They also can create albums and while uploading assign pictures to an album. If they post directly into the member galleries it shows # of pics, comments, last upload ect. on the main page under mamber galleries. If they create an album and post pictures in the album it shows 0 for pictures and comments and last upload are blank.

I am not saying that it is not working right, I am just trying to figure out how to make it work.

Well I beleive albums are separate from category photo counts/

The only way an album photo count is added to the category count is when it is assigned to a category.
