5.11 "Thumbnail" gallery mode not persistent(NOT A BUG)

When viewing a gallery and choosing "Thumbnail" for the view mode and then navigating to the next page, the setting is not retained and the mode is reset back to "Gallery" mode.

Have you ensured you have uploaded all the new files if this was an upgrade.

In 5.1 a cookie is created and you need to explicitly when viewing a category select another method as if there is the ppthumbs cookie on an install it will follow the natural order of the cookie
