| Email Gallery Link to Friend Problem? Hello,
It was brought to my attention by one of my models that she couldn't send her gallery to a client. So i went to the showmembers link and found any members gallery. Clicked on it and tried to send the gallery of that member to myself. NOT WORKING??? CLICK HERE FOR MEMBERS GALLERIES
However i'm able to send any of the galleries in the catagories links... CLICK HERE FOR MAIN GALLERY
Can you please tell me why my members own galleries can't be sent out and the email is not going out.

| Note: not only is the email link not working but if you go into the members galleries and view members. The icons for each member is blank. I've tried going into admin and rebuilding images. It's not working and I didn't do anything to mess this up...
HELLPPP....

well the simple answer on the email gallery is thats an old bug as it should not be appearing at all for the members gallery cat 500. Not problem simple template edit and its gone which it should be
Members gallery thumb best suggestions I have is to upgrade to the current code. what version you running 5.0 or 5.03? I am trying to search old support threads and seeing if anyone reported this issue and it was solved as in the current code members gallery thumbs show.

I agree with grafx2g that members really should be able to email a link to their own pics. Unfortunately 5.11 does not provide this. All it does is not show the email link to friend in Members Gallery.
The only thing you can tell your members to do for now is to click on their username in Members Gallery or see all users photos, copy/paste this url and send to friend.

wow, I just noticed that this option has been removed out of the upgraded version. To me this a big bummer because people that use these galleries like to show members their own images. Not catagories or showgallery.php pages. Lets face it, it's a self involved world and I would have thought this would of been a top of the list fix.
I almost don't want to update because of this feature not being there.
Chuck I think it's very important to add this feature very soon because it only make members want to promote themselfs hense promote the product more.
After looking at the new version i find the more comments link being the only thing that viewers would find some what cool.
My gallery took a dump and I didn't even do anything to it so i'm bummed.
However at the end of the day i'm a big fan and loyal to photopost pro. ....

There are a number of cool improvements for 5.11, for example Categories - Group by Member, though it's not possible to `email this link to friend', except by copy/pasting the url.
Please consider making it possible for members to email link to friend - of their pics - as per cat - as well.
Thanks,
Mark

You can try changing like 304-307 in showgallery.tmpl to (changes in bold): Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
You should review the release information notes, there are many new features.

Hi Michael and Chuck
Thank you so much for this fix - it works great on 5.03. This is a really great feature :-)
I am assuming if I upgrade to 5.11 I will have to reapply this fix based on mjm and grfx2g's feedbacks.

Here is my showgallery.tmp file and no where can i find and replace the code you are talking about Michael P.
Chuck went into my gallery and edited the showgallery.tmp file and now i'm getting this error on my showgalleries.php Warning: Failed opening '/usr/local/www/vhosts/gx2gmodels.com/htdocs/network/templates/.tmpl' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/www/lib/php') in /usr/local/www/vhosts/gx2gmodels.com/htdocs/network/templates/showgallery.tmpl on line 14 Also in my showmembers.php page the images will not appear. I haven't made any changes or uploaded any files because I require you guys to help me with updates and so on.
I turn my gallery completely off because my gallery keeps on getting more messed up as well go here...
I need help fixing this back to it' original state when everything was working fine. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

Your issue has to do with whatever you did to showgallery.php. You sure you uploaded the proper file version
the showgallery.php file should have this line in it for 5.03
$whichgallery = ( $Globals['pplayout'] == "no" ? "categall" : "categories" );
Looks to me like you edited an old showgallery.php script with what Michael stated above and uploaded it to your server.

when you installed my upgrade chuck i never got the files in zip or anything.
I see you fixed the error from appearing however images are not appearing in ShowMembers.php and ShowGallery.php...
Can you please provide me with the lastest upgrade that you made on this gallery of mine. Only issue i seem to be having now is getting my images to appear.
Robi

I need to know exactly what you have done to assist you. Your not showing thumbs on the members gallery either which is an entirely different script I never touched. I cant tell what version your using cause you have branding free

no not at all chuck,
I may have uploaded my old version over the new version that you installed.
ShowMembers.php & Showgallery.php & showgallery.tmp
Those files may have been uploaded from the old version i have on my local drive but it's been working fine and only started messing up two days ago. I haven't edited anything though...

This would be your issue then. It has nothing to do with the little template edit I made as it was a couple lines to make that email box not appear for members gallery and your gallery worked fine when I viewed it.
You have uploaded old files to a new install and this is the problem. You would need to have showmembers.php showgallery.php on your server from the proper version you are running. You can not mix and match files. what version of the software does it tell you that you have in the pp-inc.php file? when was your last upgrade?

okay well if you have uploaded old to your version you would need to send me ftp access to fix and upload proper files that where there before you uploaded the wrong ones.
