PP 5.1 Photos Disappearing In New Gallery

I created a Member's Portfolio Gallery using the "Members Gallery" format. Now, the only photos appearing are photos with comments. Photos that did/do not have comments have disappeared. This is after I uploaded the files from the most recent build.

I dont quite follow you here.

http://www.dphoto.us/forumphotos/sho...s.php/cat/1405

You are using a members gallery style for this category meaning all users who uploaded to this gallery are categoried like members gallery I dont see an issue. If you click a users pic then all the pics for that cat show

Click the link above then say click the first user

http://www.dphoto.us/forumphotos/sho...05/ppuser/1024

Everything appears right

The issue is there were many more photos in member's portfolio galleries. For example my gallery had 10 photos and now only shows two. Others have similar instances. The only photos that are displaying are photos with comments. Photos that were not commented on do not display. They disappeared, so all is not right.

Unfortunately now, the photos don't show either way.

It looks like two of the users are not showing correctly - David C and Queen. Did you just upload a showgallery.php in the last few hours?

at line 570, find:

if ( $Globals['memformat'] == "yes" && $cat == 500 ) {

and change back to:

if ( $Globals['memformat'] == "yes" && $cat != MOBILE_CAT ) {

we may have fixed one thing, but broke another and need to find something that works with both. Try this and if that restores it, I have another idea.

Just an observation, you can change line 29 in showgallery.tmpl:

<td align="center" height="100">

to:

<td align="center" height="160">

and your image will line up better since you are using 150 sized thumbnails.

Also, I think you may have an outdated template since you are showing a blank recent comment. If you'd like to PM me your server info, I can take a closer look at this issue and make sure your files are up to date.

Updated your site, fixed the blank comment and I think I got the photo issues resolved. So many combinations of options that its almost impossible to try them all.

Thanks Michael. Here is some feed back from 2 members since thechanges:

Did a little test:

First method:
------------

- Display the album I want to upload to (Motorsports)
- Click Upload photos

Category now shows "Dphoto Forum Members Gallery"
Album shows "FretNoMore: Motorsports"

- Browse for the file to upload
- Select Yes for notification
- Press Upload/Submit

I get the error message "JH5Q8822.jpg ( exceeds your limit of daily uploads)"

Second method:
---------------

- Display the album I want to upload to (Motorsports)
- Click Upload photos

Category now shows "Dphoto Forum Members Gallery"
Select "None" for album

- Browse for the file to upload
- Select Yes for notification
- Press Upload/Submit

Upload works fine, second dialogue is shown

- change category Dphoto Forum Members Gallery to FretNoMore: Motorsports
- Enter other info
- Click Process

Hey presto, file uploaded.

I'm on page: http://www.dphoto.us/forumphotos/uploadphoto.php

Listboxes are set to
Dphoto Members Gallery
none

Change 'none' to anything else

Select a single photo

Click Upload/Submit

It tells me that the daily limit has been exceeded. I did not see the PHP error on line 422 this time.

If you are reporting a new error, it would be really helpful to start a new thread.
