4Images Importer Made a Mess
 

Just ran this and not good results:

- Created all the top level categories OK.

- did NOT create any subcategories.

- Only about 20 of 605 photos ended up imported to the right category. All other photos ended up in a Member Gallery under a blank username.

- During import_files stage, received azillion error message similar to:

Warning: copy(/home/photos/www/4images/data/thumbnails/500/deer1.JPG): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/photos/public_html/4images.php on line 617
Importing (Dsc_0032.jpg)

Warning: copy(/home/photos/www/4images/data/media/503/Dsc_0032.jpg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/photos/public_html/4images.php on line 607

The numeric directories do NOT exist under 4images. They do however exist under the photopost data/ structure.

I can delete all this and start over if I can get an updated script...

Your mess would be a path issue I would assume.

As far as user photos this line is surely in the import for photos.

$userid = $line['user_id'];


You can PM me for personal assistance on this issue as every import I have done took no time and was real simple.
