Members Slideshow gets stuck/repeats pics
 

5.1 - Have Member Gallery Category set to `show all users photos'.

During slideshow, stops midway and repeats showing same couple of pics over and over.
Will send PM with info to site for a look-see.

The problem when doing slideshow of members pics/all cats...
- the slideshow also shows members album pics, then returns to the previous pic in the cat and repeats itself, showing album pic then previous cat pic adfinitum.

I deleted the albums from the members Gallery and now the slide show works fine to the end.
some may not want this ... but ...I personally like it if a user wishes to view all of a member's pics, to include album pics in the slide show (otherwise album pics get viewed less - reflected already by lower view counts in stats for pics in albums)

But as of now, when the slideshow gets to the upload date of album pics, it'll slideshow the album pics, then return to the previous cat pic and get stuck on a repeat showphoto loop.

PM me site access's via PM so I can check out that file and files. I do not get a loop on my install so I need to see whats going on that site

I was having trouble with my slide shows repeating and jumping all over the place. After looking at this for more than an hour I realized the program is running as developed and there are two areas that can cause confusion.

1. If you have the display order for a Category set as Random, the slide show just isn't going to give you anything reliable for output. No wonder it has difficulty - the next slide is random, repeatable and it may take a long time or no time at all to reach the "last" slide.

2. Since you unfortunately can't pick a slide show until you pick a single slide, you may not notice that you might change locations when you select that slide. For example, if you are in a Member Gallery and you select the first slide which happens to also be posted in a Category, the slide show will start in that Category. You'll see the first slide as expected and after that you'll be surprised. So, look carefully when you start a slide show in a member Gallery.
