Adding options to a ad

Is there a way to add options to an ad?
For example: T-Shirts
Add the option for size: s, m, l, etc
Add the option for color: Black or Orange

Or would I need to setup ads for each option?

You can add additional fields per category via Admin => Edit Categories for each category they its pretty much unlimited.

Perhaps I confused you.
Those are fields that can be added for when a person CREATES an ad... not for when a buyer BUYS the product.

For example... a guy wants to place an ad selling t-shirts.
He wants the buyer to be able to select Black or Orange
He wants the buyer to be able to select a size of S,M,L, XL, etc

As far as a buyer no real way to do that without you altering your code in some way.

Now on a regular ad a user can if the seller sets up BUY IT NOW to go to paypal to pay for an item. Most times payment is handled between the seller and buyer not the software.

What your talking about I have seen on shopping carts like miva merchant etc not really specifically a classifieds product.

You're right... I was thinking "shopping cart" and not "classifieds".

i agree with you. If they want "options", let em do it in their own store.

But along thoes lines, I had a seller complain because the buy-it now would not let him set different freight charges... ie, one for the USA, one for China, one for Bogata Columbia... I told him to just not use the Buy-It-Now button.
