getting en exact error

I hust got classifieds running on a windoze server and cannot upload images even though gd2 is enabled, checked out ok and I have given access rights to path names where the images should be getting stored.

I get this error:

imco.jpg: Uploaded file not found
Typical reason is that the file exceeded allowed limits.

I have set upload limit at 2M in php.ini and I am uploading a 9,700 byte file

is there any way to get a more detailed error message as to where the process is failing?

ps: this is definately a server config issue and not a problem with the product because vb won't allow me to upload images either - it just says upload failed - however there are no error in the php error log or the apaceh error log. I'm running apache 1.37 on windows and php - any dll's that must be loaded in the apache config file? - my test server works fine, but my live site is giving me problems...

thanks in advance.

- jeff

Check to see if uploads are allowed in PHP?

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Basically this is the else clause of handle upload and the if states is_uploaded_file so that error basically is saying the upload is choking ie the server is not allowing it.

You dont change anything in our code. I was just pointing out whats why the message happens is your server is not allowing the upload.

I have no idea what emails you mean since I get tons of emails I reply to a day and I don't know who you are here

the problem above turned out to be a problem with the php.ini variable called magic-quotes. it was on and that caused extra slashes to be added to the path name where the temporary file was being storess after the upload.
