PhotoPost 8 RC 1 available! With new mobile interface!

We're ready to release the first RCfor PhotoPost PRO 8 - this update focuses mostly on the User Interface while also adding in more AJAX features.

In this update you'll find a new template set for the gallery layout and you'll have a choice between Gallery or Forum styles. We've also enhanced the CSS to use some more attractive visual elements.

New features:

. New gallery templates layout
. New mobile interface for smartphone browsers

. Added social sharing icons to showphoto
. Improved AJAX features throughout
. Improved contest features to use AJAX voting
. Some functionality (like ecards) has been removed to help deal with "code bloat" on features that appeared to get very little (if any) use.
. Included for vBulletin4 are plugins to include gallery content into your forum. All profile links will go to your forum where all gallery content will be listed.

You will need to run the upgrade.php script after updating your files.

NOTES ON A RELEASE CANDIDATE

This is still a pre-release version we have had under development for some time. You should not use this in a production environment unless you have a solid understanding of PHP and your server. We are limited in our ability to help you with your particular system if you dont know it.
