| Couple Questions
HI;
When I upload am image, after it is done, I am returned to the home page of the forum, I'd think I would see the photos I just uploaded.
I'm getting that default watermark in the background of my images, though I have nothing in the path for watermark.
I have resize original image set to 1024, but I just uploaded a larger photo and it did not get resized.
Thanks

well I would suggest you have your image processor correctly selected and the proper size options you wish filled out.
You either need to set the proper server path to convert where asked for imagemagick and set your processor to use that or set your processor to GD2
try both see if one work and one doesnt. without you telling me what errors you get when uploading its hard to comment. If the image is not getting resized down and you have the options filled out correctly there should be an error.

If the image is not getting resized down and you have the options filled out correctly there should be an error. | I've tried both ways, with Gd2 and with Imagemagick using convert. If the path is set wrong, then the thumbnail does not generate, so I am pretty sure it is seeing convert. convert is version 6.0.7, that is a bit old, could that matter? http://www.dolanhosting.net/jamiedol...ts/screen7.jpg
I'm not getting an error on any of these uploads, The uploads just finish and I am immediately redirected to the main page of the site,(the VB CMS).

Jaime as that option for resize images states is that size larger than you specified in the image type selection for filetypes?
what happens if you use GD2 instead of Imagemagick?

I changed it to 1000x1000 and it still let me upload a 3000+px image and it downsized it to 1000PX. Then I left the resize original to 1024. I'm using Image Magick which I assume is preferred over GD2.
After an upload is complete, it still redirects me to the main page of the CMS, how can I change this?
Thanks
Jamie

I have all my upload limits set to 10Meg, I can upload larger jpeg's with the one at a time uploader.
When I try to use the flash uploader, it keeps saying "File Too Big!" Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
The same file uploads just fine when I use the one at a time uploader.
The flash uploader worked great with smaller files.
Any idea why it's doing this? Update: I did some more test uploads and the flash uploader works just fine for everything under 2 megs. I can't imagine where it is getting a 2 meg limit from. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Thanks,
Jamie

well when it comes to size flash uploader makes no difference between file types.
jpg, gif, mp3 etc... because you could upload like 3 gifs and 2 jpgs in one go. (thats an example)
So it takes ALL file types (in ACP->Vbgallery->Edit filetypes) and chooses the smallest defined size.
Check if you dont have Max Filesize there that is 2MB ( even if it is disabled)
- cant remember but I think if Max Filesize for one filetype is empty it defaults to 2 MB also...

Thank You!!
Yep, I just had to change it for the other files, (wave, avi, midi, etc.) and it solved the problem!
Thanks!

but.. if you dont want to do that.. you could also:
change to the biggest allowed do following:
open upload.php
find: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
replace with: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
with this it will take the biggest allowed upload size instead of the smallest.
(personally it think we should make this default)

(personally it think we should make this default) | Thank You. I made this change. Is the number (1000) Kb? As you wrote it, is that 1MB? Do I need it to be 10000 for a 10MB upload limit?
Thanks
Jamie

Jamie | No, dont change anything there, thats just kb to MB as vbgallery uses kb as limit and flash MB... but the limit is the same.. In filetypes you have to input in bytes!
1 kb = 1 kilobyte = 1024 bytes
1 MB = 1048576
2 MB = 2097152
10MB = 10485760

Luc | Got it now. Uploads are all working great!
Thanks again.
