vBgallery 3.01

Fix for new vbulletin css.
Fix for sidebars css, will now work with vb versions greater and smaller than vb 4.08
Fix for userprofile, user css should now work with gallery (background, border etc configured by user in profile)
Flashuploader sizelimit fix, files will NOT be uploaded any more if they are bigger than the biggest sizelimit defined in filetypes.
Fix for bad urls in memberinfo dropdown in image comments
Fix for bad urls to gallery home when vbseo is active
Fix for PMs when popups are active
Fix for some xcache issues (experimental)
Some minor bugfixes
Many template fixes, also 5 new css templates.
4 hardcoded phrases are now phrased
Fixed 2 errors in installer.

NOTE:
to install
Overwrite ALL files!!! Do NOT forget subdirectories in gallery folder and forum folder!
then run the installer -> http://yoursite.com/forums/admincp/v...ry_install.php and select the upgrade option
You should also revert all changed templates !!!

PS: You can if you wish export your settings to xml file before install and if something changed (which should not happen) you can always reimport them.

Edit: two things after upgrading, the images weren't showing, I had to disable "Use .htaccess Protection".
The sidebar in the image view is left below the description although is set to show right and two buttons "post your comment here" instead just one.

You can post any support issues in the support forums. I do not really work with the product directly as I work with the 3 other products we release.

Just checked the sidebar issue
main thing (with all products running vb) make sure the templates u use are compatible with the current vb version. things can get broken (like sidebars) if u use vbulletin templates that are not made for that vbulletin version.

Note: There is one issue we were not able to fix, you will have to wait for next release.

If you set Always use Forum URL as Base Path in vbulletin options to yes, lots of links will be broken in vbgallery. (Mainly posting will be problematic)

This is important on fresh install, as vbulletin sets this option to YES by default

PS: just checked vBGallery with 4.11 and had no issues.

If set to no vbadvanced cmps doesn't work. So I have to decide between both?

You would need to seek assistance with vbadvanced products from them. I do not beleive they would actually code there applications to require some optional setting which was just added in vbulletin like 2 weeks ago. I would suspect there is something else going on. They would be able to help you. As far as vbgallery we simply will be putting in an override in our code to always have that setting off for our application so it does not interfere with the code.

Just an fyi as far as I know. The only people who might want to turn on that new vb setting are people have run only vbulletin on there site with nothing else. Why else would you want to set every last url on your site to go to the forum ;)

NO, you can use both. There are 2 fixes suggested here:

This will switch off baseurl for vbgallery pages only.

There is a new build for download -same version # 3.01 ... what changed?

nothing much at all really just altered files to make sure no errors with 4.14 just download and reupload all files.

Any update on the coming vbGallery?

There is no coming vbGallery any time soon other products of ours are in development currently.
