Upgrading to vbgallery 2.51

I need a little refresher regarding uploading.

Do you upload everything to your site that was in the vbgallery download or just the files specified in the instructions?

Also the instructions say the following:
Quote:
$vba_options => $ppg_options please disable add-ons that pull gallery information before upgrade.
What does that mean?

Turn off your vbgallery product in your product manager

upload all the files under the uploads folder to your server where they go. Your forums files go to the forum and the gallery files you upload to your gallery install and then you run the vbgallery_install.php you select upgrade option.

I just want to verify that I DO upload (as an example) importalbums.php to -forums\admincp even if the instructions don't list that file to be uploaded?

The instructions say to upload these files:
Quote:
  • vbgallery_install.php
  • vba_gallery_admin.php
  • product-ppvbgallery.xml
but the importalbums.php file was also included in the download for that directory.

Also, it the correct way to transfer the files:

a) by uploading the entire folder and overwriting the matching files?

or

b) should you only select the individual files that need to be uploaded and upload them to the corresponding folder?
