New user profile database error

Since installing photopost - Database errors occur when viewing a new member's profile, i.e., http://www.phillysportspulse.com/for...mber.php?u=576

Gallery is located Philly Sports Pulse

When I disable the plugin, you can access the profile without issue.

This is an issue that can happen under certain rare circumstances (use of other hacks). when a user registers while gallery was closed.

to fix this goto acp=>vbgallery=>maintenance and run: Update User Counts

this does NOT happen when gallery is not closed.

Update User Counts works, however it continues to happen with new registrations.

The following user registered while the Gallery was ACTIVE and I'm seeing the same error:

Well I suspect there is a hack interfering.
it is difficult to assist as it is not possible to see your exact configuration.
What you could do is
- turn on gallery (gallery active)
- disable ALL products except vbgallery
- register as normal new user ..
..... if it works
turn on the products one by one..
every time register as normal new user..
and check profile
if you run into the problem after turning on one of the hacks it is that hack causing the problem.
It would then be easy to find a fix

If the problem persists after turning off all hacks..
we would have to find a different solution...

Another error that is happening with the gallery ACTIVE is when a new registration is submitted. They get this instead of the confirmation page:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE, expecting ';' in /home/psp/public_html/forums/fbb/runbox_hook_register_addmember_complete.php on line 5

Looks like the registration goes through though. Does that tell you anything?

Thats what i meant.
It seems there is a hack (probably called runbox or something like that) that has a program hook that is executed before vbgallery.
It seems that there is an error in that script, thus not executing the vbgallery code at registration.

To Fix that, temporarely disable the yafb product. I checked at vb.org, at it seems that users get a bunch of parse errors.

ok, so I disabled yafb and it worked.

so I cant use yafb anymore?

Well as I understood, the author gives hints and fixes to use with other products.
I would contact him and see if he comes up with a fix.
I think, that next month there will be an update for vbgallery 2.5x so maybe this issue will dealt with.
BUT i doubt that the error you mentionned above will go away, because that is probably a typo or something like that in the other hack.
(if you dont use vbgallery, the error will still be there but maybe not displayed)
Make sure you go through the the yabf thread and i seen that users posted fixes there.
