navbar duplication and removing a section

I have toyed with the Navbar Replacements and have figured out the rest of the links except this one. I think it may have something to do with a conflict with CMPS / vBadvanced. Home works and goes to "www.site.com/?" but Forums links to http://www.site.com/forum/http://www.site.com?

Is this an option to change or something in a template?

Second question-- how do I remove the Gallery section that includes "My stuff", "what's new", "what's popular", and "search" above the Forum page where it lists my forums and subforums?

Much thanks..

Found the answer the the second question in the form of the option in Modify Add-ons in the VBG CP:

Quote:
Home Active
Enable to show images on your FORUMHOME.
set to 'No'

Can't figure out the linking still..

Well look at your navbar template what code is in there to show the forum url? That will determine your issue and how to correct it.

Not 100% what I am looking for. I know, for instance, when I am in the arcade the FORUMS link works fine so that is why I thought it was specific to vBG. Should I copy/paste something here?

well for instance arcade.php is probally a relative link not a full url so in vbgallery edit settings navbar replacements you would put arcade.php under the navbar replacement section.

But I didn't have arcade.php in the vbg replacement section and it worked fine. It's only that stinker of a link while I'm in gallery. Did you see the example on my site, Chuck?

Cancel this. I just hardcoded the URL into the navbar template at it works fine. Thank you for your help nonetheless!

Yes that example shows your link in the vbulletin options was not a full url and as such fixing that link in vb options would have worked or simply hard coding it also works.

Goes back into this whole discussion of relative links. You can not use relative links in code and show that code over another directory outside the normal forum structure without the links being full urls. The links would never show right because a relative link tells the code to look for that file etc in the directory where you are at.
