2.5 Upgrade and Flash Uploader

Chuck,

I upgraded to 2.5 flawlessly (no error message or anything as some others have reported) and I went into the admin settings and turned on the Flash uploader.

I then went to my personal category and tried to upload a picture and while the flash uploader showed the picture uploading (progress bar went across and then said 1 file uploaded) after I filled in a title, description, etc. and pressed submit it simply returned me back to the member category alphabetic listing. I clicked on my username and went back into my gallery and the image was NOT there.

I then tried the single file uploader at the bottom of the screen, uploaded the same photo, and it worked just fine.

Something is amiss with the Flash uploader!

Here is a screen cap I did.

BTW I just tried this in a couple of other categories and it won't upload anywhere so I have turned off the flash uploader until the problem can be found...

Ken try disabling any plugins etc you have. Also make sure under your usergroup permissions in vbgallery you have turned on allow to upload files from server for each usergroup.

I checked my administrator usergroup permissions and yes I have permission to upload from the server in vbgallery, although by default registered users do not. I was testing using my administrator account though. Why would a plugin affect a flash uploader?

I am just stating certain mods or hacks with javacode etc have been know to interfere with the process and I would suspect this is your issue.

That's my problem too with the flash-uploader. And I have disabbled all plugins?

Possibly try removing this. I am merely searching our notes on incompatibilities that we have seen.

It's from a style. When I delete it, than the style don't work.
Have all hacks, addons and mod's excluding vbgallery deactivated, same result.
Tried it on a other site from me. When I upload the picture, it show's how in the screenshot from KenDude, when I cklick to save see attached scrennshot

Chuck,
I've tried disabling various things, but honestly I have so many things, it is like searching for a needle in a haystack, if there was some specific java code you want me to search for in a template or something that would maybe make it possible to find the conflicting item, or if you have a list of known conflicting plug-ins or java code, etc. again that might make it a bit easier to track down if indeed it is a conflict and not something else. For example I don't run Apache, I run Lightspeed, could it be anything due to that?

Nope, just commented out that line and it still doesn't work, in fact if I try to upload multiple photos it only tells me that 1 has been uploaded. You should still have access to my AdminCP, feel free to try turning it on/off and trying some uploads so you can see what is happening too.

Ok are you still using the Omegatron email address? If so I'll go check your account for access.

With the Flash uploader? I turned it off again earlier, did you turn it back on and try it?

Did you try multiple files? If so did you try a main gallery or a personal / member gallery. The place I am having a problem or at least where I tested it was my personal member gallery. I'll go look at my site to see if you turned on the Flash uploader and if it works in other categories but not in the members category, etc.
