I just finished installing vBGallery 2.4.3 with vBulletin 3.8.1
Hey guys,
I'm the proud owner of vBulletin since 5 days ago and I was looking for a good Gallery to complement my Forum. After a couple of days of research i decide it to purchase PhotoSpot vBGallery. My intention was to try vBGallery first and if didn't like it, i would proceed with the big package; PhotoPost Pro...
Well, i didn't even need to go that far. I've finished installing vBGallery in vBulletin 3.8.1 and applied the two changes indicated in a previous post to make it compatible and everything worked like a charm! I've played around for a day and I really love vBGallery. It's simple and it works! Sure, maybe there's a couple of things that are missing, but overall i really love how it looks and feels and i really enjoy that it does mainly everything that a good Gallery should do.
There is a couple of suggestions that i would like to post and i will in the appropriate forum + i believe that I've found a very small bug; that also will be posted in the appropriate forum.
Also, my main forum is in Spanish and vBGallery doesn't come in Spanish but the Pro does... I guess i will have to translate it my self to accommodate my users.
Just my two cents, but i believe that vBGallery and PhotoPost Pro should be sold separately. The Pro version with the max price and vBGallery with, maybe, a price of 45$ to make it affordable and accesible to all the vBulletin community.... pretty sure that it would become a great success!
Anyways, I just want it to says thanks and keep up the good job! Can't wait for the next version to come out!
