Exclamation vbGallery Menu Does Not Load

Hi Technical Support Staff,

I am in the process of installing vbGallery 2.4.3 on my website. I was able to upload the files into their respective folders. I am able to complete the installation process without any signs of errors. However, I do not see the vbGallery menu pop up on the left-hand side of my adminCP menu so that I can adjust my settings. I was wondering if I did something wrong during my installation.

Any thoughts, ideas, tips? Please let me know.

Thanks ahead of time!

Just to add on to the issues that I am having...

The installation goes back to the AdminCP page after the "Image Paths" step where it asks:

Quote:
For this part of the installation process, we will attempt to update all of your images for use with PhotoPost vBGallery. Please check each image here to make sure that it is displayed properly!......
I click on the Save button and it takes me back to the main adminCP page. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or if the installation did complete. However, I am not seeing the vbGallery option load up on the left frame of my adminCP.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

Log in with your master admin login and under admin permissions mark off that sub admins can view the vbgallery

Ah, it turns out that I wasn't set to be a superadministrator. I had to add my userid in the includes/config.php file as a superadministrator.

Edit: I can't seem to view the gallery right now:

Any ideas?

Thanks for helping me out Chuck!

Have you entered the correct forum path in the gallery_config.php file where your forum exists via server path?

I figured out the issue. The path was in fact correct. However, I had forgotten to rename the file from gallery_config.php.new to gallery_config.php.

Again, thanks for the help!
