Hello,
After the vb upgrade to 3.8.0,members of my forum complains that they are unable to upload images.I have checked in Admin and usergroups have permission to upload just like it was prior of the vb update .
I myself have no problems uploading images.I dont know what to do.
Do you have any idea about what has happened and what can i do to fix it ?
Thank You !

well simply put what is the upload issue?

I have a test site run on vb 3.81 and see absolutely no issues so I am going to have to assume the real issue either has to be server related or permissions related.

If I were you, i would test doing the following:
1. create a standard user.. one that has the same permissions as the complaining users have..
2. login as that user and try and upload (with the browser the user has). If it works with firefox, try IE6 or IE7 and try google chrome.

IF you can upload as that user.. using the same browser, then the complaining user has a selfmade problem (could be image to big.. or image from a nokia phone - some have strange headers -> problems with gd2 - )
IF you cannot upload as that user try to describe what is happening..

Even if its a selfmade problem getting a clear concise error from the user would go along way.

You are right.
I went through the registration process and checked if i could identify any problems.Everything worked fine.I tested it using Google Chrome only but i m certain it works just fine with mozilla as well.
I m awaiting the response of the members .

I appreciate your assistance

When I delete the comment, here is the error I get...
