Current active members is this a hack where would you be talking?

PhotoPost vBGallery

I run a clean test gallery here that I dont use there is no current active members on vbgallery. As far as forumhome block try resetting the usergroup permissions.

He probably meens the "Logged users" displayed on gallery index.

Go to admin panel --> vbgallery

There click on gallery settings.

on the page there is a section:
Display Logged in Users?
Displays those users that have been active in the last XXX seconds on the home page, where XXX is the value specified by your Cookie Time-Out option (Default is last 15 minutes). Not recommended for sites with hundreds of simultaneous users. The Alphabetical option requires more resources than the random option.
And there you have:
Display Logged in Gallery Users Only?
Select 'Yes' to show only users that are viewing gallery pages.
Yes No
If you set that to yes the logged users will be different than those displayed on vbulletin index!!!!

as for forumhome you have the settings in "modify addons"
Make sure u are using vbulletin >= 3.7, it will not work with older versions.. as for vbulletin 3.8 i havent tried

Yeah amazing how many people are just jumping to that 3.8 beta without thinking through the consequences.

PhotoPost vBGallery

display logged in users seems to work for me also.
