Question New users can't register with vbgallery enabled as a product / can when disabled

Hello - I have a problem with my new users not being able to register when vbgallery is enabled:

When users register while vbgallery is enabled as a product - they get a db error, and if they try and log in they get bounced back to login

when I disable vbgallery users can log in no problem

all existing users are fine, and I tried changing the cookie domain to .bakerrradio.com - but Im convinced it has to be something with cookies

forum: BAKERRADIO FORUM - Powered by vBulletin
gallery: THE BAKERS GALLERY

please advise and thanks in advance!!

I also just tried this:
http://www.photopost.com/forum/1233256-post2.html

$galusers = $db->query("SHOW TABLE STATUS LIKE ". TABLE_PREFIX . "user");

this

$galusers = $db->query("SHOW TABLE STATUS LIKE ". TABLE_PREFIX . "'user'");

and by default it comes with one '
$galusers = $db->query("SHOW TABLE STATUS LIKE ". TABLE_PREFIX . "user'");

all db error

I also want to note that my vbulletin install has a table prefix of vb_
